Challenge

The customer commenced a pilot project in two large stores in Europe to check whether self-checkout in the field of fashion retail would be relevant. Also, it was necessary to ensure that the equipment is fully modernized.

Results
The pilot was scaled to 6 stores, and then, a strategic decision was made to deploy such terminals in all stores in six countries of the company's presence. During deployment, GDC Services engineers coordinated the delivery and supervised the configuration of the equipment.
After the first month, it turned out that about 25% of sales in the selected stores were made through our terminals.
